We grow mostly heirloom vegtables and herbs. Here at Fortner Valley Farms we do not use any pesticides of herbicides of any kind. We have fresh produce beginning the end of April and lasting unitl the end of October. We produce several varieties of heirloom tomatoes, peppers, plus multiple varieties of squash, pumpkins, corn, melons, potatoes, okra, herbs, cucumbers, peas, beans, onions, leeks, garlic, lettuce, arugula, spinach, kale, mustard greens, cabbage, collards, and much more. We offer a summer and late summer CSA program. We are always experimenting with new crops and new varieties to see what grows best and tastes best for our area.
